RB411U Mini-PCI

The product manual for the RB411U says the Mini-PCIe is only for 3G modems - any particular reason why one can’t use a small SSD to use for cache space?

There is no drivers for it.

Any plans to add drivers so a SSD could be used as a cache?

As far as I know you can install RouterOS to SSD disk and used it as secondary disk.

It is not possible to connect such disk to RouterBOARD 411U.

I know this is an old post, but on the topic of what the pcie port can be used for, will it support regular 802.11n Atheros cards?

bump

no, like said above, only 3G miniPCI-e cards can be used in this specific RB411U device.
