Hi Guys,
I have built 50 3G units from:
Mobo: RB411U’s
3G: Sierra MC8780
Wi-Fi Radio: R52nM
42 of them seem to work fine, the other 8 do not. The other 8 are configured exactly the same as the working units. I have tried different SIMs from different providers with the same results. All the SIMs work in the working units but none of them work in the 8 not working ones.
This is a failed attempt you can see it successfully connects to the network and then the “sent IPCP ConfReq” continues then the modem disconnects and then attempts again and fails. etc

The strange thing is that sometimes these 8 will work and others it will not, the others work every time.
I have tried v6, v6rc1, v5.25, v5.18rc1, v5.16 all have the same results. (well v6 cannot acquire the serial port but MikroTik are aware of the issue this effected all units)
Any suggestions what could be wrong?
