i’m new on RouterBoard usage, i have problem with my rb433ah, eth0(POE) always blinking but cable is not pluged. and then i format the NAND and i cannot install it again. its still blinking (ETH0) , i try to install with netinstall but netinstall cannot reach routerboard ( i tried all ethernet ports). are there any way to install it and how i fix the unused blinking port.
Netinstall will work on Ethernet1 only.
Make sure you enabled Etherboot on RouterBOARD and configured Netinstall properly, http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Netinstall
You receive RB with eth1 problem or something happen when you use it? If you have problem with any interface no reason formating NAND. Just make /system reset-configuration or upgrade RouterOS
