hi Normis - that only works if the distributor is any good. The one we have in the UAE does not have a single person there who knows anything about Mikrotik. They are simple box-shifters.
So whenever anyone goes there to get help - help is very limited - and mostly non-existent.
I wish you had better representation in the middle east.
The only salvation is people can go onto this forum.

Xconcepts and Alpha really that bad?
i have bought a lot from xconcepts - and they have 0 tech guys. Only a desperate sales guy who is trying to learn about IP routing.
Alpha - I have only bought from them a couple of times but their tech support seems a little better. They do have tech staff - but I would not let them roam in anything else than the beginners forum…
yes they have the worst support you can think of.
