RB433 with R5H card in 10KM issue ...

Good day…

Dear All..
I have 3 link setup here (Same direction)…

  1. ..
    Equipment: RB433AH + R52H (RouterOS 3.27).
    Distance: LOS.
Antenna: 32 dbi Pacific wireless (5.8Ghz range)
    Signal strength: -55dbm ~ -58dbm (54M2 / 54M2).
TCP test throughput: 30Mbps Full duplex.
    TX power setting: Default
    Problem: No, consider very good.

  2. ..
    Equipment: RB433AH + R5H (RouterOS 3.27).
    Distance: LOS.
    Antenna: 32dbi Pacific wireless (Wideband)
    Signal strength: -44dbm ~ -48dbm (54M2 / 48M2).
TCP test throughput: 20Mbps Full duplex.
    TX power: manual- 54M(3) 48M(7) 36M(12) 24M(17) 1~18M(21)
Problem: The link is not able to provide (54M2 / 54M2) even i increase the TX power, it’s just only act on max (54M2 / 48M2).

  3. ..
    Equipment: RB433AH + R5H (RouterOS 3.27).
    Distance: LOS.
    Antenna: 32dbi Pacific wireless (Wideband)
    Signal strength: -62dbm ~ -65dbm (54M2 / 54M2).
TCP test throughput: 30Mbps Full duplex.
    Problem: No, consider very good.

I just wonder know, whatever i increase or decrease the TX power in the link 2, the signal still keep on -44dbm~-48dbm, Then the throughput is not able to reach up to 30M Full duplex like how other’s 2 link works.

Is anyone experienced the same thing as what i facing? Just to add on, the link 2 is having no interference at all.

What could be the cause? when i test with the UDP on the 3 link, both of it can up to 30M full duplex.

Appreciate for whoever would like to share…

I suggest u to set manual data rates 54 and 48 and for backup 36; use default by tx power

maybe u have luck

Best Regards Remus

Hi..
My problem is not with the link quality…

Just suprised how come with the very good signal level..
I am not able to get 30M full duplex if compare with the link 3 whichever having more low signal received level…

Beside this, i am only managed to let the link in -44dbm ~ -48dbm..
And, a funny thing is, even i set the Tx power at default or more lower (3dbm), the receive sensitivity still remain the same…
