RB433AH or RB532

My colleague is telling me that RB532 is more powerful and better then RB433AH :open_mouth:
RB532 (i know its far from fresh) and its CPU is 399MHz and Memory 29MiB :laughing:
RB433AH (my favorite now) and it`s CPU is 680MHz and Memory 124MiB :sunglasses:

am i stupid or im missing something? or my colleague just isnt right.. Hes trying to argue that RB532 CPU has different CPU architecture and that why its more powerful than RB433AH with its CPU 680MHz. And im not talking about memory, the difference is huge.

Someone, please, tell me who is right and why.. because i need to know :confused:

both CPUs come from MIPS family, while RB500 series had little endian RB400 series have big endian variations.

also, RB400 series CPUs are younger generation of CPU, and it is more powerful compared to RB500 CPU. tests show that first is at least 2 times faster.

oh.. ja jau Jānis tad jau normāli…

tātad ja pareizi sapratu, tad RB400 ir vismaz divas reizes jaudīgāks… tātad man ir taisnība :sunglasses:

vienkārši mums te vienā linkā jau otrais RB500 pie 20Mbit (+Queues+manlges+utt) trafika ģībst nost… a es saku, ka vajadzētu RB400AH, bet.. es jau tikai darbinieks!

ja esmu sapratis pareizi, tad var slēgt ciet, a ja nē, tad gan jau atbildi sagaidīšu :mrgreen:

any computer specialist should know that MHz is not any indication of performance.

Ja RB532 bija ātrāks, tad MikroTik būtu vēl būtu vietā RB433AH. :slight_smile:
