RB433GL Problem with bandwidth

Hello, im using RB433GL and have big problem with Bandwidth. My conf looks like:

eth1 - WAN(1G)
eth2 - Hotspot output(1G)
wlan1 - Hotspot
Bridge on eth2 and wlan1

When i connect WAN link to my laptop, got 900/900 Mbps, but when i connect it to RB433GL on eth1, connect my laptop to eth2, have only 105/105Mbps. I dont use any bandwidth limts, in port status got 1G Rate. Im using only standard hotspot configuration on bridge. Where could be problem??

See the profiler what cpu does…

This board is not powerful enough for 900/900 Mbps. There are performance test results numbers at the bottom of the product page, check them out.

Still 105/105Mbps sound like too little for the board, and can probably be improved. I’d start with what jarda suggests- go to /tool profile when the board is under the load and see what consumes CPU the most.

You will never get 900/900 with this hardware. Best case scenario, on the product page, is 725Mb - and total, not 725/725.
But 105/105 IS weird. First, it’s too low. Second, it’s too “pretty”. I always suspect round numbers. By they way: are You using NAT? This is something that hit hard the CPU.

Yep, now i know that i dont get 900/900, but why i dont get 725Mbps. Yes, i using NAT from Default Hotspot configuration, and default firewall from hotspot.

According to the profile numbers that you provided, the bottleneck is not a CPU in your case.

Please check the ports of your router and devices directly connected to your router. Do they negotiate at 1Gbps? Check your cables if they don’t. Well, check the cables even if they do. Also check error counters on interfaces.

Hey, i found problem. When i set hotspot on brigde bandwidth was limited to 100-110 Mbs(never get more). Its look like hotspot configuration doing somethings, but dont know what, bcs im using default conf;/

Isn’t hotspot in contradiction to fasttrack?

It’s not the case, I guess, because FastPath is not supported on RB4xx anyways.

yep, i try this also, but didnt work for me. Is there any chance to get some hotspot funcionallity like page redirection on login in normal wireless conf?
