RB433UAH + Huawei E173 u-2 = problems

This is my first post on this forum so, Hello to all of you , now lets get to the business.

I have RB433UAH and 3G usb modem, Huawei E173 U-2, I can do things like:

  • send an sms from it,
  • receive sms,
  • execute script by sms
So generaly /tool sms is working fine, furthermore its listed in /port print like this:
 1 usb2 4 9600

also its listed in /system resource usb print like this:

1 2:3 HUAWEI Technology HUAWEI Mobile 480 Mbps

and with proper config in /int ppp-client I can used it as a normal backup modem, so by now you should ask, ok but where is the problem? Here β†’

[admin@chiken] /system resource usb> /system serial-terminal usb2 channel=0 ;
[Ctrl-A is the prefix key]
[Q - quit connection] [B - send break]
[A - send Ctrl-A prefix] [R - autoconfigure rate]

trying rate 9600
timeout trying rate

Yes, I know that in /int ppp-client interface and every thing else using that usb modem should be down before trying to use serial-terminal, and it is, nothing is using usb2 when I try to connect to it by serial-terminal, nothing is listed in /port print by the usb2 device, even though I cant force it to connect via serial-terminal, I have tried changing usb ports in device itself, changing channels in /system serial-terminal usb2 channel=X, rebooting, just nothing helps, do you have any idea what can be wrong?

Second thing is Pin code, I must disable it on SIM card to force the modem to work properly, nothing is helping, seting pin in /int ppp-client or even puting something like this: /int ppp-client set 0 modem-init=β€œat+cpin=1234”

About 2 days ago I had Huawei E173 S-1 ( this one is U-2 ) and I was able to connect to it via serial-terminal and force through it the at+cpin=1234 command and then it was able to connect via Sim card with Pin code on it.

So the two questions are, why I cant use serial-terminal on this modem? and how to properly use Pin code to connect via modem?

Best regards.
