I’ve been working with Routerboards for quite sometime, but I’m now looking at setting up a virtualization environment.
I’d like to pick up the RB44G, but while drivers seem to be available for most OS’s, some sites mention that not all the onboard NIC’s will show as active - or rather the OS might report the card as down.
So… has anyone used this card with a linux flavor such as Ubuntu or Debian - or even better, has anyone used it with VMWare ESX(i)?
If so, what are the gotchas or caveats. I’m just looking for a four port card with good driver support and where everything works.
