Hi, I have some RB450 with a problem… the routers reboot itself often and I have this message in log list: “System rebooted because of kernel failure”.
What’s happen?
UPDATE!!! Same problem with RB493!!! It’s a RB4XX bug?

Also i have this problem with an rb133c, since ROS 3.1X (actually 3.22 installed).
Many users have this “feature” enabled (
try to search “kernel failure” in this forum), but, at this point, i think there are no other side-effect than the initial message in log.
All my hardware works fine, but the message still here… after every reboot.
Same packages, used to upgrade a rb100, works fine.
All bioses and ros are always upgraded to latest versions.
you have to make a supout.rif file after the reboot, and send it to mikrotik support. we will look and fix whatever problem caused this. it’s most likely related to some specific configuration
