I have an RB450G that I’m playing with. I just reset it to defaults and set the firmware to RouterOS 4.17.
I have the WAN side receiving DHCP from my gateway. 192.168.0.x
I have the LAN side pushing DHCP to my laptop. 192.168.1.x
Once the RB450G is connected to the WAN, any DHCP clients on the 192.168.0.x network that try to renew their lease lose connection.
As soon as I unplug the RB450G those clients re-establish connection with my gateway.
I double checked the settings, Eth1 is WAN, Eth2 is LAN, I have not made any other changes from the default settings.
