I’ve noticed that one of my RB450G port 3 is acting strange… not sure if it’s the configuration or the port began malfunctioning:
The lights on the port look good and blinking, however, anything I try to configure on that port doesn’t respond properly. WinBox doesn’t see the RB450G on Eth3 as well, but sees it fine on other ports.
I tried configuring a static IP on it 192.168.1.1 , configured static on laptop: 192.168.1.2 , and tried pinging the .1. No ping! If I move the 192.168.1.1 on Eth4, works well and ping returns.
If I try to ping the 192.168.1.1 on Eth3 within the router (New Terminal) in WinBox, it returns the pings successfully.
Any ideas what could have happened here?

Yep I can confirm such an issue.
I observe for example eth4 not being able to establish a proper gigabit connection.
From time to time it goes Up slower than the other ports.
From time to time it works at 10Mbps.
From time to time it does not work at all.
Tested with different cables.
I can not see any visible hardware issue on the board itself.
I have another one in a totally different configuration that was acting up as well. I think it was eth3 on the other one.
The issue was noticed on v5 RC versions.
im having a same problem, my ether 4 not blink at all.i bought 3 day ago… at 1st working well and i unplug suddenly no light at all.now i don’t know what to do.. do i need to get a replacement or something need to check.thanks
