RB450G not booting

Hi,

For quit sometime i` m using serveral Mikrotik routers and today i have rebooted a RB450G running firmware 3.10 and RouterOS 6.28 but it did not succeeded the reboot. The router is not coming back online.

After some trial and error i found out that when i push the reset button and apply power to the router it will boot fine and everything is working. But on a second reboot the router is not booting. I already upgrade firmware to 3.22 and RouterOS to 6.29.1 but the problem is still there

The error message change when upgrading the firmware or RouterOS

Maybe you should try the netinstall.

i second the netinstall

I have set the bootloader to the old version and now the router is booting fine. However this might not be a permanent solution. I hope Mikrotik Support will respond.

They will tell you to make netinstall first. You could already try it without waiting for their response.

I had a RB450G do something similar and reloading it via Netinstall fixed it so it’s definitely worth trying.

hi
i have rebooted a RB450G running
RouterOS 5.26 but it did not succeeded the reboot.
The router is not coming back online. plz give me some tips

Can you see it by ip > neighbors?

What kind of changes did you apply before rebooting? Why did you reboot it?
