I used webfig to download and install upgrade from 6.29.1 to 6.31 on my RB450G and it didn’t come back up. I hook up a serial cable and find this:
RouterBOOT booter 3.18
RouterBoard 450G

Memory size: 256 MiB
NAND size: 512 MiB
Press any key within 2 seconds to enter setup..

What the heck happened?
Also, I try to upgrade the firmware over serial, but that doesn’t work either:

I ended up digging out an old windows laptop so I could run netinstall and re-installing using that did the trick. Luckily I had a backup of my router config. An OSX or Linux equivalent of netinstall would be nice.
