RB450G Scrambled serial Text

I’ve got this problem on my first and ever new Mikrotik Router ,lovely 450G,but when i am connect with my Serial to USB,i’ve got scrambled text both on securecrt and putty ,

Does the router work, and can you connect with Winbox/SSH when it boots?

i have seen things like that on older USB/serial-adapters, probably caused by the serial controller chip.
only solution i know is trying another adapter.

I would double-check what kind of serial cable you have - there are several types around:
http://www.lammertbies.nl/comm/cable/RS-232.html

but it looks like there are problems with proper baudrate - check other baudrates

yes,i was tested the winbox and using the normal-files method to upgrade mikrotik,because of this seem causing some bad blocks(4) so i want to tried netinstall before RMA to my distributor.

yup after this morning i bought another more ‘branded’ cable,i’ve got a clear text ,thanks to everyone,cheers.
