RB493G + 3 radio

I am new with routerboard.
could I do a setup RB493G + 3 radio ? does it work as 3x3 ?
any other setup work best ?

You mean 3x wireless cards? If so, then yes, that can be done.

Also, what are you trying to do? 3x access point mode? site2site links?

I have no idea which antenna and how many, any suggestion ?

There is a huge difference between

  • One radio with 3x3 MIMO
  • Three radios with whatever

You can stick 3 radios in a RB493G, but you can’t do 3x3 MIMO with it as those cards are all miniPCI-e and the RB493G only supports miniPCI cards.

i am not sure 3 radio minipci can do configuration 3x3 or not, but I am sure it is not relate to pcie or pci
