Hello, I’ve been having some issues lately with my RB493G, it seems that sometimes the CPU will go up to 100% and stay there for anywhere from 10 to 80 seconds. Sometimes its a constant 100% other times it bounces from 98-100%. I’ve noticed this problem didn’t start happening until after we upgraded to rOS 5.x, I believe the first version we had tried was 5.2, then the next was 5.4 and now 5.6. I’m not sure on which version it started on, noticed it once or twice on 5.4 before I upgraded to 5.6. I made a few support.rif’s but not sure what to do with them.
Normal CPU usage is typically between 1-40% doing what we’re doing (PCC/DHCP/PCQ)
Send the files to support@mikrotik.com. They will be able to look at them and if you give them a description of the problem possibly a solution. This is a community forum, and not the official support channel.
What process does /tool profile say is using up all the CPU time then?
