I have a new RB5009 which I setup CapsMan on. I have 2 CAP xl ac plugged directly into it as caps, R1 and R2. Both are listed in remote caps on the RB5009, though ONLY R1 seems to be working. R1 has disappeared from WinBox and R2 is listed. After using NetInstall to reset R2 and even resetting it as a cap and reboot this happens.

Also, the caps are supposed to be able to daisy chained correct? When I plug R2 into R1 it just blinks eth1 and no wifi, then I have to reset again… Any ideas?

If you’re talking about PoE … then likely no. Visit product page, check powering and PoE out data for all involved devices and do the power budget calculation. Also allow for power losses in cables (meaning that you have to consider a bit lower voltages when converting Watts to Amperes).

If you’re talking about data daisy chaining, then yes, it should be fine with configuration tightly based on default.
