RB5009 pppoe-out1 keep disconnected on ROS 7.20beta2

Hi,

Currently I using RB5009 with ROS 7.20beta2 which it fix MTU PPPoE over VRRP (vBRAS)

I notice there are gap ~1 second then rcvd LCP TermReq

ISP failed to received LCP Echo from RB5009? because MTU not fit in VRRP?

I use CAKE and FQ_CoDel to manage upload
and I set WAN interface to use mq_pfifo at value 2000

only drop happening is on PPPoE interface

now on 7.20 beta 4 pppoe again goes back to 1480 can u confirm

Oh, I didn’t check and not tried yet, tonight I try update and see what happen

I still have disconnect even I lower QoS to 900Mbps
upload use CAKE
download use Fq_CoDel

meanwhile other IF has no Tx Drop reporting

It is possible Queue drop PPPoE LCP Echo?
If yes, how to mangle make sure not to drop it

before try beta4, still not stable, haha

Mikrotik and PPPoE VRRP seem more unstable

the Tx Drop only happen at PPPoE Interface:

possible CAKE and FQ_CoDel dropping PPP LCP packet because unknown to them?

@himurae I have updated to 7.20beta4 and still getting 1492

Still having pppoe random drop, never had this issue before, but now disconnect very frequent after 7.20

yes you are right i also face similar behavior with drops,and i have no queue or Qos better send a email to mikrotik team so they can fix it ,at least mtu issue is now resolved ,thanks for the tips on telegram
