RB5009 using RouterOS v7.0.5

Hi,

I just bought an RB5009, upon installing I noticed that the device is using ROS v7.0.5 (stable).
I want to install user manager package, on mikrotik website it mentioned v7.0 beta 5, is this version same as v7.0.5 (stable) installed on the RB5009? It confused me I did not know which package version to download. Thanks.

No it is not …
But you can upgrade to v7.1rc5 and then install its user manager.

Ah I see. Thanks for the clarification. No wonder I can’t find any of this version on the net lol.
