Hello,
i have a routerboard 532 and it can’t boot. After “starting services…” nothing!
As i have read a bios upgrade is neccessary.
I am searching for some tutorilas, whowtos or some info about the upgade because i haven’t manage to upgrade the routerboard’s bios.

Did it work before? I think you rather need to change your Serial Connection settings (baud rate?).
If it doesn’t work, try to Netinstall it with latest v3.17 before trying to upgrade the bootloader
The routerboard was working before.
I have installed v3.17 but nothing. I have also try the 2.51 version but without any change on the router’s behavior.

Changing the serial speed had no effect.
I have tried to upgrade the bios using hyperterminal but when i try to press a key it freeze!
Also the Advanced Serial Port Terminal when it sends the file to the board, after having send the 50% of the file stops due to errors 
Do you know any other software able to send the firmware?

Maybe the company who sold you this device can help? It’s usually a better idea to look at it, than just guess by description.
i have upgrade to 2.9 version of bootloader http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/RB500_BIOS_upgrade
but the same problem: starting services… and freeze.
Of course i have used the netinstall and i have installed the 3.17v of routerOS
Any ideas?
