RB532 Interferes with two way Radios

We Have a high site with a RB 532 and SR5, next to our tower about 5m away we have a FM Repeater tower for two way radios, when we first installed the RB 532 we had it interfere with the FM transmitter and then put the RB532into a routerboard metal case and then earthed it and our problem went away. we now put up a second RB532 and our problem is back.

I Think the frequency is between 146 and 174 MHZ

Any Suggestions

This has come up in the forums before. Voltage choice seems to affect the operation of the power supply portion of the circuit board. Try the other voltage jumper setting and appopriate power supply. Unshielded cat5 at 100mbps can cause problems too, and not just with MTs.

I’m a licensed radio amateur in Italy. Just say that on HF (0-30 Mhz)mikrotik carry out a terrific noise, and also on VHF range you ask on the post.
The noise come out from ethernet cables. I put two linksys routers instead of ethernet cable to link my RB532, and noises become quite acceptable on my radios. Tips: shield cases, mount shielded cable grounded only on one side to prevent ground current loops, and round all cables (also power supply) into ferrite toroids at both sides as nearest as possible the power & ethernet plugs. Seriously consider to kick off the switching-like power supplies, instead buy more solid and affordables (and interference-free) linear power supplies.

Ask a local and serious radio amateur, i think will be happy to help you about this.
