RB532 & RB502 Daughter Board Problem

Hi Guys

I have been having a problem running CM9 cards on a daughter board mounted on a RB532 running 2.9.11 MikroTik OS.

Sometimes the CM9 will show up, but unable to pickup anything when scanning on the 2.4GHz settings, this is not a problem for another CM9 install on the back of the RB532.

Most of the time the cards will not even showup on the daughter board :frowning:

I am testing with 2 x RB532, 2 x RB502, 3 x CM9.


I have tested these in different combinations, but have had no luck.

Has any one else had any similar problems before I start e-mailing suppliers etc?

I am suspecting some type of hardware problem? Not sure.

Please note that the RB532 has no problems with any wireless cards

we had loose soldering point on the rb532 once on the doughterboardconnector - just resolderd it and works fine …

After over a week of fault finding, we resoldered some of the pins for the daughter board connector and it came to live, I am so glad if was not the OS a fault :slight_smile:
