I have a Routerboard 532A running version 2.9.49. Lately I’ve been experiencing a lot of router “lockups.” When this problem occurs it starts out by having huge packet loss on all interfaces, like 50-80% packet loss. I’ll get disconnected from Winbox and I won’t be able to access the router. If I reboot the router the problem usually goes away. This problem started a few weeks ago and usually happens once every few days. In a rare occurrence it did happen multiple times in one day.
The system logs show nothing out of the ordinary. The average CPU usage is 46% and the average memory usage is 26.53K / 61.37K.
