Does anyone know if the rb532x works fine with rOS v4.17 Or other v4.x?? Does it gets slow? Or what problem I can found on my way to upgrade?

i have some RB532 in router and/or AP mode. no problem with 4.17 on them.
Im asking because when the v4.2 (I think) was released I upgrade one and It won’t boot again I couldn’t make it come to life again, not even with net install

I’ve a 5.0 running for several weeks without problem.
How do u feel thr performance?! Same as 2.9.51 or slower or maybe faster?
I’ve done no performance tests.
RB532 works well with newest RouterOS releases.
When this happens I usually plug a null modem cable into the serial port and boot the router up to see whats happening. Sometimes theres enough of an install that the bootloader boots, but not enough to come online, so then you have to force to netinstall.
I know for a fact that 4.12 and 4.16 work on the RB532, so i have no doubt as to other versions having any difficulties
no problems running 5.6 on RB532’s.
I’ve been upgrading a number of RB532’s from rOS 3.x
I upgrade using this sequence:
a) to rOS 3.30, then get a new license
b) to rOS 4.17
c) to rOS 5.6
Firmware is 2.18 for all 3 rOS releases.
