Hey i wanted to know what power supply you guys suggest for this situation
rb600 with daughterboard
3 xr2
1 xr5
Im currenly using a 48i http://www.streakwave.com/Itemdesc.asp?ic=POE-48i&eq=&Tp=, that puts out 16.8 watts , i have upgraded the firmware on the rb600 but i still get spuratic reboots, im wondering if i am underpowering or if this is just a crap board. And should i spend the extra on a power supply if the board is still just gona reboot.
How much does the board and daughter board take , and how much can it give to the cards?
How much power does a xr2 and xr5 draw?
4 XR cards are consuming ± 24 W, which is actually close to the maximum of watt, RouterBOARD 600 can give for the wireless cards.
RB600 consumes 9W by itself.
OK i just bought a power supply with 60w at 48v , and this thing is still rebooting, i even have the new firmware updates. RMA? Is there a fix i can download?
Make sure there are default settings for the wireless cards.
they were default to begin with and i changed them to try and lower the power consumption. Took em back to default and no change. Still reboots , clients still get kicked off. I have about 15 aps in production with 433s and 532, all of them have 50d uptime or better, the rb600 just reboots constantly
