I just get the brand new RB600. On that board, we put 3 x R52H and 1 x R52. The power supply is 48VDC 1A. All wireless interfaces are disabled.
The very annoying problem is the frequenly restart with reason watchdog timer.
When we disable watchdog timer, it will stop responding on next few minutes / hours. We even can not ping, telnet, ssh or browse this hardware.
The ip given is 192.168.200.5/28 with gateway 192.168.200.2, and watchdog address is 192.168.200.2. I did try to change the interface from ether1 to ether2 but still does not change the result.
Dude on 192.168.200.14
As comparison, I got another RB on 192.168.200.3 and never having the same problem.
the ROS is 3.18… just upgrade to 3.20 but having the new problem : always reboot in the middle of make supout.rif file. So, return to 3.18. Upgade to 3.19 make no different.
Of course, you should upgrade to latest RouterOS, upgrade to latest firmware with /system routerboard upgrade and generate a supout right after the crash and send it to support@mikrotik.com. As well as, keep open discussion about all this with the company you actually bought the unit from as they must provide warranty and support. And post here to let us know how it’s going etc. Good luck.
Seems that I am not alone within the same problem…
As mention before, I did upgrade to 3.20 and having problem with generate supout.rif… it always restart in the middle of process…
Last nite, I did downgrade it again to 3.16.. and seems more stable than before.. I can see more than 8 hours uptime without restart, without any traffics… just dude check.
I contact my distributor few minutes ago and he help us a lot with discussions… He got surprise with this problem as no of his customer complain with similar problem. He did change the board as the first one proven faulty.
We had the same problem with new RB433’s and RB333’s when used with R52H the problem was solved when we stopped using the first mini-pci slot from the inner side, instead we used the middle ones RBs stopped rebooting and are working smoothly , in another scenarios is we moved antenna from main to aux also solved a problem.
