RB600A TVI (interference with TV signal)

Hello,

we have problems with RB600A boards causing strong TV interference, mainly on TV channel 41 (631.25MHz).
Interference comes probably from DC converter on RB600A board, it is allmost independent on input DC voltage, type of external power supply, number of miniPCI cards, traffic… Interference starts immediatelly about 1.5s after RB600A powerup.
Even plain RB600A board with just DC wall adapter cause interference at 10m distance from TV antenna.
Interference is slightly reduced when we put RB600A in metal sheet enclosure, but it is still present.

Please can anybody confirm this and provide solution?

What are the Tx power and frequency on wlan cards? Did U try to use grounding and grounded power supply. Basicly all Mikrotik products ar FCC certified.

I have one RB600A with RB604 at hand - it causes TVI at that TV channel even without miniPCI cards.

TVI is slightly reduced when I put RB600A into metal enclosure but it is still present (enclosure is not EMI sealed):

Grounding of case didn’t help at all.

try to use shielded cables and shielded box for the router.

RB600A have passed interference test and did that with flying colors.

Please write to support about this problem.

We had the same problem but with RB 411 used as 5 GHz CPE. The problem is that interferences were seen on one SAT channel (and this is rather high freq.). After powering up RB 411 they could be seend after few seconds.
