I have RB750, OS version 5.14, firmware 2.38.
When I do backup, restore is not working. When RB reboots, the only port that has light is eth1, but it’s not reachable, not through IP adress or MAC telnet. The other ports eth2-eth5 when connected to PC, link is OK, but light is not on and RB can’t be reachable again.
I tried to do few backup files and same scenario repeats. Also, I tried same backup file to restore on other RB750 and it want restore.
Is there some trick with this particular HW and backup/restore??

It might be that default configuration is loaded, where Ether1 is firewalled and MAC-Server is disabled on public interface (Ether1 is public interface for RB750).

I have tried to save backup on my RB750 with default configuration, reloaded backup and RouterBOARD is back to operation with “backup” configuration after reboot.
