rb750 failed to upgrade firmware 2.22 to 2.27

dear all,

i’ve been experiencing failures with routerboard rb750. on aug 4, i bought rb750 and it’s preinstalled with ros 4.7. since all of my routerboards running on ros 3.30 i downgraded it to 3.30, it worked. but when i tried to downgrade the firmware to 2.20 it locked up, wouldn’t boot at all.

i tried to reset with the reset hole, it came out with its default configuration, and i tried to upgrade the ros to ros 4.11 and it worked, but when i tried to upgrade its firmware to 2.27. the system still shows 2.22 firmware.

i downgraded again to 3.30 and it worked, and the current firmware showed 2.22. just to make sure, i do system routerboard upgrade again, and it would not boot at all. is there a bug on 2.22 firmware of rb750 after it’s being preinstalled with ros 4.7 and above??

i think i have to do the reset hole thing again next morning. i just don’t want to use ros 4.11 since all of the 4.x ros version disconnects my PPP connection if idling for more than 10 minutes, the ros 3.30 did not. i have checked the gateway to be checked by ping but still didn’t solve the automatically disconnecting when idling for more than 10 minutes.
