I’m using an RB750 as my hotspot router. It provides a captive portal and asks users to log in. However, after being up for about a week, it will stop asking users to log in and just lets anyone through without showing the splash page.
/ip hotspot active print shows nothing
Any ideas on where I can look to get more information on what is failing and why this is just stopping?
A reboot of the device solves the problem.
Doing a ‘/ip hotspot export’ would be the correct command to see what the state of things are. If you post the results of that command we might be able to spot what is going on. I don’t think the command you listed will actually ever give you any results.
What is your chosen login method(s)? Do you have cookie login enabled? If so try turning off the cookies or setting an expatriation date on them.
PAP/Trial/Cookie and cookies have an expiration. I will post on this thread with the output of export when next it happens (I just rebooted to verify that fixed the problem).
