Just installed new RB750 which works well (albeit taught me a lot more about networking ).
I have a query about the Flash/RAM size, all the spec sheets show 32MB RAM/64MB Flash but all interactions with the device suggest it is 64MB RAM/128MB Flash (see screenshot from WinBox).
Which is correct, has the RB750 been silently upgraded or is it being reported wrongly and perhaps will give trouble later if the device fills up?
Looks like you are right. Tried a full reset in case the OS upgrade had upset something but still showing 64/128MB. Still worried that a wrong setting might overwrite the boot loader, I took a look at the board. It is marked as base RB750 but the RAM chip is Nanao NT5DS32M16DS-5T, ie 64MB, and the flash chip is Toshiba ending …G02D5TA00 (label in the way), probably the 128MB TC58DVG02D5TA00 (they don’t do a 64MB device).
