I have bought RB750. Was installed an old router OS 4.xx from 2010 year. Of course, I decided install new 6.33.
Got connection via winbox,loaded 6.33 OS and flashed router.
Wait for about 3-4 minutes. Then try to reboot webbrouther,so also reconnect winbox. My PC obtain IP from router. In winbox router appears with its default 192.168.88.1, I login into router via winbox and router asked me for initial setup of eth0, I done it. Then connection was lost. I tried connect via winbox again ( winbox see router) - no connection. I tried connect via webbrouher - on default IP address 192.168.88.1 - get into login page, input admin/password-then get on to error 404/not emplemented. I tried with empty password, this same - no interface, login screen and then error 404/not emplemented.
Result :
Winbox- see router, but can’t connect with them
Brouther- see login screen,and then error after login
Telnet-ask for password, then incorrect password, no login-error
PC - got an IP from router
Of course I tried to reset router, I tried login with admin/empty password - no result.
By the way, from some time after switch on router start light LED on eth1, if even nothing connected to this port.
Is my router dead? Is any way to repair it? I totally dissapointed…
Have you tried to connect to the router using winbox (latest version, 3), connecting to it via ether2-4?

Seems I got connection via Netinstall. With new 6.33 release - still nothing, and I was compelled install one of old os releases 5.xx.
With this os release I got connection via winbox.
But I totally disappointed - why after few minutes after board os booting begin constantly light LED on 2nd port? What does it means - problems with hardware on this port, or in flash remains some settings/configurations from old router’s owner configuration? Just router was bought like secondhand.
