A new RB750 that i am using works fine and continued to run for hours. Once I add an L2TP Client interface, the L2TP Client connects successfully, 1 minute later, the device restarts. Boots up again, then another minute later, restarts, and so on.
What could be the reason? How to resolve this?
Logs is showing: router is rebooted without proper shutdown (cause 1)
Currently running FW 2.38, OS 5.16

Do you have the same reboot problem, when L2TP client is disabled?
No. The device does not reboot when L2TP is disable.
I have downgraded the device to 4.17 and the device stopped rebooting as well but the L2TP connection does not remain connected for more than 1 min even though the “connect on demand” is disabled and connecting to the L2TP server from my Windows laptop does not disconnect at all.
Any advise???
gus same for me, after connection over l2tp client interface WITH enable chap and mschap v2 auth types, 751G-2HnD goes to reboot, if i disabling this auth types it works perfectly(just because it can’t connect to my ISP). Maybe point not in auth type but in connection type i don’t know, but i can’t find the reason of this.
When does reboot start? After few seconds, 10 minutes?
