RB750 latency issues

Hello,

I own a Mikrotik RB750 and I have latency problems with it.
When the PC is plugged directly into ISP’s modem, ping to 8.8.8.8 is about 40ms. When I use the RB750 with the default configuration and no other devices connected ping goes up to 57-80ms.

Any idea as to what could be the problem? I tried searching similar issues without much success.
