RB750 + RBWAP2nd Home Network

Hi Everyone,
I am a beginner in Mikrotik Devices.

I have here a the following devices:
(1) RB750 with firmware v6.37.3(stable)
(2) RBWAP2nD with firmware v6.39.1(stable)
(1) simple 5 Port switch hub
(1) Dahua pfs3106-4p-60 POE SWITCH

I also attached below my network diagram plan .
I want to make my RB750 the:

  • main router
  • DHCP Server for all devices connected
  • Access Point Controller for all WAPs

I already know how to setup a simple DHCP server on rb750 on designated ports.

  1. I used PORT 2 as the management port
  2. Port 3 is dedicated for wired PC Clients (max of 4)
  3. port 4 is disabled
  4. port 5 is connected to the PoE Switch, then the 2 WAPs are connected to the PoE Switch.

My problem is I do not know how to use the CAPSMAN feature in mikrotik . I’ve been doing some researches but it confuses me a lot .
I don’t know what steps should I chronologically follow from setting up the WAP APs, detecting them with the RB750 which is supposed to be the CAPSman Server, up to properly configuring them in order to implement the network design I attached.

If you may pls help me with this, even tutorials or appropriate video urls for reference will help me a lot .

Or Can I just;

  1. Remove the POE Switch
  2. Connect each WAP to a dedicated physical port in the RB750
  3. Configure (1) DHCP Server that will handle and give IP Address to the clients connected to these (2) ports (or 2 WAPs)
