RB750 with 5.2 - 100% CPU for OVPN client

Hello Mikrotik team,

I upgraded RB750 to ROS 5.2, configured OVPN client and CPU is going for 100% - most CPU is taked by PPP.

My configuration:

  1. OVPN server
  • RB433AH, ROS 5.2, actual firmware
  • OVPN server working with working clients (RB750 with ROS 4.17, WXP, …)
  1. OVPN client
  • RB750, ROS 5.2, actual firmware
  • started with clean configuration, only DHCP client is configured on ether1 and OVPN client interface

During issue there is a lot of attempts to connect to OVPN server in short time (2-3 times/sec). After downgrading to ROS 4.17 the RB750 is working correctly.

Can you, please, investigate this issue?

Tried on v5.2. OVPN client tries to connect to the server once in every 10seconds. Please contact support.
