RB750AR anytime soon ?

%subj%

Topic of the year. Use RB450G (CPU@680Mhz, 256MB RAM) And remeber RB750/RB750G is SOHO router not Core router.

Did I mentioned ‘Core Router’ ?

A - level 4
R - integrated wireless

u need eol, so take a look on rb/5ex. All features you need plus it has 6xmPCI

Oh… come on - i don’t need alternatives. I just asked is there plans to release Wireless-capable device based on RB750 platform.

Please read questions more carefully.

LOL read your post first. And for future request we have special wiki section. http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/RouterBOARD_Feature_Request

I think you can count on a cheap plastic wireless SOHO router from Mikrotik later this year. I would like to see it with 802.11n support and 2 or 3 mimo.

But don’t expect a public comment from them.

They like to keep secrets until ready for release. And the announcements are often timed around MUM shows.

I also expect to see more new ‘upgrades’ like an RB433G.

An RB493G would be awesome but I don’t know if the Gigabit ethernet ICs are there with 9 ports.

Tom

BTW ‘A’ does not mean level 4 license. It means additional features. RB600A had twice the RAM of the RB600 but same license level.
RB532A also had more RAM than RB532 but same license.

A is actually more RAM

I’m also waiting for a cheap wireless router for my house.

what about RB411R? http://www.routerboard.com/pricelist.php?showProduct=44

it’s quite cheap

5 port ruter with wireless…and what can I do with a RouterOS License Level3 in my home?

I think normis mean RB411AR with build in 100mW 2.4GHz radio. Course if u need more LAN ports, you should use RB532 or RB532A + RB564 daughter board. Only it’s not cheap SOHO router.

RB532
I’ll go back into the past to get one…
as I said, a cheap router like RB750 + wireless. One device, fewer cables, more elegant, more discrete, more …

 cmon RB532A can run nice and smooth without any problems, only feature i miss is there is no Gbps interface. Sure i agree, MT should realise some cheep soho router with mimo and few Lan ports..

When you add power supply and metal case it’s not that cheap compared to RB750+expected “R” price.

I still have a hope that Mikrotik will consider launching 750-series Wireless-capable device.

I would like to see that also. An MT version of the WRT54G on steroids!

Yes, there will be such RB (750 with radio). Normis confirmed this at MUM in Poland.

Glad to hear. Hope this model will be revealed during the next MUM.

What I’m looking for is RB750R with at least one GigE port and 680Mhz CPU or RB411AHRG.

I thought i would be RB411ARRRGH!
With 3x3 mimo
