RB750G Dead ?

Hi, I just opened a RB750G and plug it on, leds of port 4 and 5 stays on (no flashing) It was a stock, unused item (so maybe DOA, even if bought like a year ago…)

I tried reset the unit, but pluging an RJ45 cable from the laptop to any ports doesn’t bring physical connection up (nor the led or laptop network card comes up

Don’t know if the unit is bricked and DOA ?

Hi,

I also have an issue with the RB750 board. It was earlier working properly but now when you plug it into power, all the five ethernet lights stay on and there is no connection when you connect a cable to any of the ports.

It may be our case too…

i am sure rb750 board are faulty devices, since many people experiences problem with it as you all know. Mikrotikboard/guys should look into these issues to solve them quick.

Since mine was out of warranty, I called another RB750G which I tested on reception to make sure it wasn’t DOA.

I also called an RB450G with its case so we’ll see.

I have some people who are using them for a while …

I used my cheap D-Link DI-524 for years (like 7 years or so…) without much problems, maybe a reboot every 6 months or so, so I expect same reliability with my Mtik…

I have same issue here..

Out from the box, two Rb750G after inserting the DC Plug, ALL LED just Blink few times then ALL turned OFF…Is this a DoA? Is it the two capacitor issue?? Quality issue??
