Where I started:
Original ROS v4.16. Settings reset to default.
directly connected to my notebook (30cm cable).
via winbox uploaded v4.17 and reboot. After this firmware upgrade was done
via windox uploaded v5.26 and reboot, and firmware upgrade 3.07 (latest @mikrotik.com/download)
then via winbox upgraded to 6.18, and firmware 3.18 (now v6.19 is available).
And here I tried to configure some settings, but after issuing router reboot Winbox>System>Reboot it keeps loosing settings and starts from default script.
All led flashes as normal reboot and it should start working, but then all leds flash once again (self reboot) and here we go with default settings.
What I have tried - going back to 4.17+fw2.xx, going forward to 6.19+fw3.18. No success.
Tried to upgrade/downgrade via Netinstall no success.
Tried to apply my exported configuration script via Netinstall default configuration - no success.
I believe it is firmware related, or some old hardware/flash bug.
Anyway, If anyone knows solution - please share (I’ll keep it for few more weeks, and then just utilize it)
