RB750g with MLPPPoE and with internal NAT firewall

Hello all
I just received my RB750G and I want to configure it using MLPPP (2x DSL). In addition to this, I want to use my existing firewalls on the inside interface of the router but without changing the IP Addresses that have been assigned to me from ISP. Is there a way and (how to) set up a bridge between the mlppp and port 3 of the router in which which port 3 connects to a firewall that NAT’s our private address to the public address space provided by the ISP. I do not want to use my router as the firewall

Thanks
G.

Wow! 26 views and not a single response. Someone most know something on this forum

That simply isn’t how it works. Whichever device does the MLPPP dialing is going to receive the public IP address. You can bridge through to your existing firewall, but then it’ll have to do the MLPPP dialing in order to receive the public IP from the ISP. At that point the RB750G is doing nothing at all, so it’s superfluous.

Thanks for the response. Back to the original plan!
