Greetings!
I have a RouterBOARD 750GL router with RouterOS version 6.40.3 installed on it. I’m trying to upgrade it to latest stable, 6.43.4. The thing is - I can’t really plug it in network without messing up current network structure, so I tried to install it manually, by downloading corresponding .npk package from website, uploading it to router’s filesystem root and then rebooting. No luck. I’ve also tried installing different RouterOS versions (latest long-term) and tried to downgrage RouterOS to 6.39.3 and then install latest stable - no luck at all.
/system packages revealed to me that in routeros-mipsbe package currently installed on the router there is no ipv6 package present. I’ve also tried to install just the ipv6 6.40.3 package in attempt to get full routeros-mipsbe package and then upgrade, because I thought that that might be a problem - no luck still.
So, what other options do I have, beside connecting router to the network and trying auto-upgrade? What might be stopping router from upgrading?
