Have you tried connecting to the routerboard using the “MAC” method? In that case it’s IP and such don’t matter.

Please see: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Initial_MAC_Winbox_Connection

I think I might have the same problem, also with an RB750GL.,

After booting the unit is responsive for a couple of seconds (30-60) and let me connect, but afterwards gets disconnected and is unreachable until next reboot.
I have installed RouterOS 6.12 via netinstall several times, the last time only put the system package on but nothing changes.
After install and reboot I have managed to setup an IP address on an ether port but after 1 minute, I can not connect anymore to the device.
Also found that after some time, when a connected ether interface gets disconnected, the LED stays on and also blinks once in a while.
Another thing I noticed is that when the unit is unresponsive it looks like it is acting as a plain L2 device.
With no config in the malfunctioning routerboard I happen to get an IP address from any DHCP server connected to the broken routerboard, while my PC is connected to a different port of the broken routerboard. But since no config is applied, all ports should be on their own, not passing any broadcast traffic or what so ever.
I have managed to pull a supout.rif file from the device short after boot and sended it to the MikroTik support.
I hope they can find any issues with the unit.
