RB750GL Switch Rule

Hi All,

Our ISP connection require VLAN and Priority. I understand that RB750GL support switch rule where we can modify the header to add priority.

Port 4 is Master port and Port 5 is Slave. I have created a VLAN 100 and 200 under Ether4 interface. When i try to create switch rule involving “switch1 cpu” port to add priority to all incoming packets tagged with VLAN 100 and redirect to Ether5, inbox prompt error "Couldn’t add new switch rule - vlan-id, clan-priority, new vlan-id not supported for this switch (6).

Does it mean it doesn’t support condition on the rule which originating from “switch1 cpu” ?

hi,

i have seen this function working on RB750G, with the newer RB750GL it stop to work.

i’m using it for vlan translation, and would like to know if it’s limitation of the switch in RB750GL or just software is buggy.

regards,
tomas
