hello,its my first time here..
i want to ask about configuring ROS for server..
the server is colocated.
well, i want to make IPMI from supermicro is only accessible from local network(VPN)..
and for the proxmox management,its only accessible from VPN.
i think its like this:
(proxmox + IPMI on VPN)on public IP 1.
as for the other services, on public IP 2.
only 1 port allowed to get out from the RB to the DC switch.
so if i want to manage my server, i must join VPN on IP 1.
then,for the hardware configuration(cabling):
ETH1 - gateway.connected directly to DC switch.
ETH2 - IPMI interface of the server 1.
ETH3 - supermicro’s NIC of server 1.
ETH4 - IPMI interface of the server 2.(later on.)
ETH5 - supermicro’s NIC of server 2.(later on.)
please help me.
