RB750Gr 3 Load Balancing Scripting

Hello everyone,

I would like to do load balancing with ISP 1 - 800Mbps and ISP 2 - 100Mbps in RB750Gr3. After configuration everything. I only can get 800++mbps during speedtest. Maybe something missing in my load balancing configuration? My load balancing configuration in my attachment of this post. Please help.

I did found this line on the forum:
Fasttrack do a bypass on firewall and queue rules.

So try to disable Fasttrack. It will use a lot more CPU, so not sure 750 would handle your GB link with Fasttrack off.

Can’t be done with gr3: 800mbps is (close to) limit of that platform WITH fasttrack enabled. And with fasttrack there is no mangling.
You could disable fasttrack for isp2 only, but that will increase overall load.
And then finally, there is also the internal wiring, which limits the throughput: see diagrams for enabled / disabled switching https://mikrotik.com/product/RB750Gr3#fndtn-downloads

Thank you for your reply. After disable the fasttrack the speed for 800mbps will turn back to 200mbps only. I think is hardware spec for 750 not enough to support GB.

Thank you for your reply. I don’t know to to disable for isp2. But I think I just apply fasttrack on isp1 only. Because I didn’t setting anything in firewall filter after the load balacing configuration. It’s ok I will try upgrade higher spec and see how’s the result.

Load balancing and failover don’t work properly on Mikrotik routers.

That’s a too general statement!
In this particular case gr3 is running into it’s hardware limits, not it’s software limitations. Don’t make such blank statements in the future.

I try load balancing and failover with a CCR and RB1100AHx4 and it still don’t work.
I have contact Mikrotik but i have still not the solution.

hahaha Antwerp at Belgium you have me in stitches,
The expression is , don’t make a ‘blanket statement’.
However, the irony is that saying blank is equally appropriate in that there is no validity in what was said which is bang on.
My gr3 maxes out easily around 400megs in real world scenario, I had to go to the RB450gx4 to take advantage of my 1gig service (fibre).

The real problem however is with you and jotne for NOT directing the originator OUT of this forum and into the beginner or general forum. Encouraging incorrect forum choices should be a punishable offence :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Plisken, suggest you stop trolling threads to complain about your predicament and go back to that thread and lets give it another shot to fix your issues!!

Of course I used it in the second context, but it’s nice to learn of the first ! (the first was covered by first line already…)

The maximum throughput of the RB750Gr3 is 500mbps, I hope to help you!
