Recently, I changed my home router from Netgear to Mikrotik RB750Gr3 and found one VoIP android app – TextMeUp cannot work, the app seems cannot register service to server.
So, tried couple of steps,
- Reset the router and follow QuickSet to config as a simple PPPoE client. No luck.
- Enable/disable SIP in Service Ports. No luck.
- DMZ to the phone in which the app is installed. No luck.
- Upgrade to latest release. No luck.
- Talk to TextMeUp and get feedback “To make sure TextMe Up works on your WiFi: dns must be opened, https outbound 443, no VPN preferred, udp allowed ( 1024-65365 )”
But, as long as I changed back to Netgear and set the PPPoE, the app can work well without any other additional settings.
Could anybody help me through this issue?
