I replace RB750Gr2 by new RB750Gr3,
3 ether ports have long cable (80m-90m) connect to RB750Gr2, CRS125, TPlink SG108E. It’s random crash, I can not connect via ip, romon.
Watchdog auto reboot work if I disable uplink when RB750Gr3 unresponse.
Mediatek switch is worse than Qualcomm ?
Do you see any link downs in the ethernet ports? If no then the problem is not the cable distance.
It’s work well when I test with short cable.
Maybe your cable is bigger than 80-90m?
If yes you could use this https://mikrotik.com/product/gper#fndtn-downloads
Also can you ping the router when you can’t conect to it? From all 3 devices?
GPER needs PoE to work, so it won’t help.
My mistake… Miracle can you ping your device when there is no access to it?
add the required PoE injector and it maybe can help a lot
long runs of cable require high quality cable, and good cabling installation practices to operate properly
try certifying cabling to discard it as a cause
long cable runs increase the possibility of electrical potential shift between connected devices, very frequently this happen if building has electrial problems or grounding problems ,or the 2 connected devices are part of separated electrical board, phase or system
another possible cause is electrical interference over the cable, or induction
