When I setup all my settings on my RB750GR3 and started speedtest it have 80-90% CPU usage on 300Mbps. Now I like to change my router for some more powerfull(cpu). I think about L009 because I like to learn about new technologies and my homelab is to learn too but I change my router to get better cpu(I heard bad opinions about L009). I also chose RB3011 because it have good price and cpu. What is the best solution to buy RB3011, L009 or something else?
I’d go for an RB5009 I have two of them and they’re great.
However for price I’d go for an L009 .
I have an RB3011 too but there’s two switch chips which become a PITA when it comes to VLANs. There’s also no L3 Hardware offload. It’s also an old design now at this stage.
The L009 supports hardware offload for the new bridge based VLANs and there’s a single switch chip. So it’s more in keeping with the new changes in RouterOS 7 than the RB3011.
Incidentally the RB750Gr3 you have supports the new bridge based VLANs in hardware too. The performance you’re seeing on your RB750 is actually quite poor for what you should be seeing.
Hi,
Review the following information:

Regards,
But my configuration can’t have fast track
But my configuration can’t have fast track
Because?
Can you share your config?
/export file=anynameyoulike
Remove serial and any other private information and post between code tabs, using the </> button

If you really can’t enable fasttrack, then RB3011 won’t be much better. My hAP ac2 (a slightly better performer than RB3011 if one can trust official test results) can route at 1Gbps with fasttrack (with CPU cycles to spare) but only around 350Mbps without fasttrack. So without fasttrack, you’ll need something like RB5009 (or better) for a decent performance.
