RB751G-2HnD mmcx male or female ?

Hi,

Can someone help me confirm whether the mmcx connector on the RB751G-2HnD is a male or female connector ? The pin in the middle is so thin but hollow. Thin enough that it looks like a male to me but as the pin appears to be hollow, it could be a female.

I want to attach an external SMA antenna via an mmcx > sma adaptor and thus need to confirm this.

Thanks.

SMA or RP-SMA?

Most wifi antennas are RP-SMA is why I ask.

This would work for a standard wifi antenna. I can’t seem to find one with a standard SMA connector.

I believe it is RP SMA. This is the antenna I have.

I think I need the following adaptor.

RB751G <> [mmcx (female) to RP SMA (male) adaptor] <> antenna

or should it be

RB751G <> [mmcx (male) to RP SMA (male) adaptor] <> antenna

So that is why I need to confirm whether the RB751G external mmcx connector is male / female

Anyone can confirm ?

Anyone ?

I see that the external connector is an MMCX Female!
